Hearing the order to leave, Nelhs opened his eyes and looks at Narenth. He nodded, but he still doesn't want to leave until he figures out what was slipping his mind. He heard Xazing's apology, but he didn't say anything. "One of these days, you're going to do something you're going to regret." he thought toward Xazing. "...Or maybe you already did." He knows Xazing can't hear his thoughts, but he would get the message one way or another.
Finally remembering what he had forgotten, Nelhs addresses the group. “There‘s something I want to take care of real quick. I'll catch up when I‘m done.” Not waiting for anyone’s response, he ran, passing by the bodies of the monsters that ambushed them and the soldiers that died. He stopped close to the area where he fell down the second time during the fight. Staring down on the monster he knocked out with the hilt of his rifle, Nelhs checked its condition. Noticing the damaged leg he shot, his hands started to glow.
Moments later, Nelhs ran back toward the group, carrying the unconscious monster on his back. A closer look at it shows it's securely restrained, from claws wrapped together by some sort of bandages, to the head where the mouth is carefully wrapped enough so it won't bite anyone, but can still breathe through it. “I don‘t care what they'll think about this.” he thought as he runs back to the group. “I want to find something out about it. Here's hoping an explanation won't cause to much trouble.
((Keep in mind that Nelhs is some distance away from the group at this point.))
