Very very interesting. I'm actually looking to get a jungler and people are telling me mostly Warwick and Shaco (hadn't even CONSIDERED Shaco before today). I've also been told Akali's surprisingly good at jungling; any truth to this? I have a thread up on this board--what and who can you recommend to me as a level 16 starting jungling?

Why only 1 Armor Pen Quint and 2 Ad Quints?

@ Cayten Shift. Since you are not level 30 it will be difficult to jungle with anyone other than warwick or nunu. Both heroes are pretty simple to use and are good junglers for beginners to use.

@ LeJamon. This is just what I found to work best for me. With Runes + Masteries you will have 24 Armor Pen and no jungle minions have more than 24 armor, armor pen cannot go into the negatives.

why are you starting at blue?

Yeah, not a fan of Nunu and I do like the way Warwick seems to play. I may have to start off with him and move on to someone else later. Any opinion on Akali though? I've heard a few people say she's fantastic at it and am trying to get some more opinions on that.

No mention of AP shaco. Would like to hear the thoughts on that.

@Cayten Shift Akali is extremely hard to jungle with, even at level 30, she needs very specific runes. Even then her jungling is pretty underwhelming, not very fast, and she can't really gank until level 6 and is easily counter jungled.

@ZXFlip AP shaco is not viable in serious play. I've messed around with it in normals and even a few ranked games. You need to get super duper fed, like beyond fed for you to be useful at all.
- in order for you to be strong you need to stack lots of AP
- since Shaco's CD's are too long you really dont do anything in a teamfight
- the AOE on the clone explosion is too **** small
- If you arent super fed, you can stack 5 JitB's and the tank will just walk into it and take 1/3 dmg then laugh... as you wasted a minute and a half stacking boxes.
It really is just a troll build, although it is rather fun when you get 20 Mejai stacks and a deathcap and Shiv people for 80% health

akali aint a great jungler. she is a decent/good counter jungler though. if your bottom lane its worth checking the golems real quick to see if the jungler is there or if your top just going over to blue buff every few min during the first 6-8 min of the game just to see whats going on. if they are there you can injure em enough to either kill them or force them to blue pill which severly hampers the jungler.

the key to jungling is doing it fast (which is why she isnt great at it), interrupting them just once will put them wayyy behind in cash and leveling.
