Hi guys,

I was just wonder how you can know if items stack together or if 2 of the same items stack or what parts of their effects stack or what happened if you had both and they didnt stack.... that type of stuff...

EXAMPLE: 2 mandreds bloodrazers? is that 80% attk speed for instance?

any one help?

Anything preceded by UNIQUE does not stack. If the item has a stacking buff or debuff associated with it (like Guinsoo's Rageblade or the Black Cleaver), having two of the item will cause it to build twice as fast, but the maximum number of stacks is the same as if you only had one. Regular stats (attack speed, damage, lifesteal, etc.) always stack, even if it's from multiples of the same item. Attack speed stacks additively based on your base attack speed, not multiplicitavely based on the total, but your total attack speed cannot exceed 2.5 attacks per second. Your total cooldown reduction cannot exceed 40%.

So two Bloodrazors will give you twice as much damage, attack speed, and armor as one, but it's never worth it to buy them because you still only get 4% bonus damage, not 8%. But two Bloodthirsters or Phantom Dancers are fine because they have no unique properties.

what about unique auras?

example, two champs both get starks... do teammates get the buff from both starks or just one?

Not exactly. If you are one of the two people who are carrying Stark's you get the benefit from both, but if you are one of the three teammates who does not have stark's you will only get the aura once.

Edit: My facts come from stickied FAQ thread

Q: How do item auras work together?

A: If you and a teammate both have the same item, you will be affected by the aura twice. As an example, at the start of the game you purchase Mana Manipulator. This item gives a mana regeneration to yourself and allies nearby. If you were to go with a teammate who also purchased Mana Manipulator, both of you would be affected by this aura twice.

However, if you had a third teammate that did not have the Mana Manipulator they would only be affected by one aura.

Note that you can be affected by the same aura at most twice. Once if you have it, once if a teammate has it.

If I'm not mistaken, Stark's is an exception. The aura from Stark's will not stack for balance reasons.

Starks is an exception to the rule. It has a Unique Aura.
