i know that you should shunpo then death lotus but how do you channel the death lotus???????

You just press R when you are close to an enemy. It cannot be used on neutrals or minions, only Champions.

You channel by not doing anything while death lotus is going on. Hit R, and wait 3.5 sec unless people run out of it's range.
