Because, any change of the stealth system will affect these two dramatically, and thus not only do we need to touch up the system, we need to touch up the characters heavily affected as well.
I know the delay is frustrating and I apologize but live team is working extremely hard on some far more frustrating priorities (Tanky DPS, etc.)
Hopefully, Twitch and Eve will be less frustrating when they are good and also not be terrible overall at the same time.
Twitch seems a little lacklustre. Nice when you don't see it coming, but the moment he's standing around for more than a few seconds he strikes me as a free kill. I suspect that might be to offset how effective he is while stealthing, mind you.
Eve appears to be reasonably well-done at the moment.
Have you considered a mechanic like in WoW, in which the stealthy's position in relation to the player allows them to see the stealthy? IE: Directly behind, no dice, but walking around in front gives semi-sight a la the initial fade-in?
