Ok, my first post to this board, tell me what you think.
I'm not good with all the numbers in the game, and I really don't think it's the point of the board to go into specifics.
Concept
With this character, I had two ideas in mind when I thought her up. One, I wanted to create a female tank/support champ, something LoL sorely needs. And two, I wanted to make a champ with a different play style than of the others. Whereas pets (Tibbers, Mord's ghost, Malz's Voidling, etc.) have been secondary sources of damage in past champs, how about a champion who relies on her pet for damage? (oh, and She's a Noxian champ)
Spells
(P) Scent Trail: Charlene and Rufus(her dog)'s autoattacks reveal the enemy for X seconds.
(Q) Heel!: Charlene shoots out a chain leash (skillshot) that deals X magic damage upon hit and applies a tether. The tether is unbreakable, and the target cannot move beyond X range of charlene for X seconds. They can, however, move within the radius, blink out of it, and use spells and attacks as normal.
(W) Good Boy!: Charlene gives a treat to herself, an ally, or Rufus that heals X (based on AP) and applies a passive for X seconds. Each successive treat heals the same amount, adds an additional passive, and resets the passive timer, but costs successively more Mana (think Kog's R). Charlene gets another treat every X seconds, maxing at X treats at any one time (think Teemo's mushrooms). The treat passives last longer on Rufus than allies or herself.
First: Small Armor and Magic resist buff
Second: Movement Speed
Third: Attack Speed
Fourth: Attack Damage
(E) Sick 'Em!: Charlene calls forth Rufus, her trusty dog. He jumps out, doing X magic damage in a line and stunning X seconds upon landing (think Heimer's E). Rufus does not disappear unless killed, and has X% of Charlene's max health. His autoattacks scale with Charlene's AD, not sure how to do it and stay balanced. If Rufus is killed, the cooldown resets (I was thinking around a minute), forcing Charlene to play support until she can summon Rufus again.
Rufus doesn't teleport immediately to the Charlene's side once she gets too far away, like the other champs' pets. He will go back to spawn if she recalls, but if they get separated, they either have to walk back towards each other, or use E to instantly summon him from anywhere on the map. When Charlene and Rufus are not together, Rufus' Attack Damage and Attack speed go down drastically, making him considerably less viable by himself. The idea is he's only good as a source of damage around Charlene.
(R) Summon Squeaky: Charlene calls down a giant squeaky toy, doing X damage at impact, taunting enemies within range. The squeaky has its own health, X% (less than Rufus) of charlene's max health. If it hits an enemy champ within turret range, it aggros the tower, instead of hitting Rufus or Charlene.
Appearance
For her appearance, I had the idea she would look essentially like a biker. Leather jacket, studs, boots, tattoos, chains, and Rockabilly blonde hair. I didn't really want another throwaway girl champ, so no skimpy outfits (at least for her standard skin!) and no soccer ball ****. Her figure should be downplayed by the leather jacket.
Rufus should look like either a Rottweiler or a Doberman, classic "tough" dog, but much larger than a normal one, with a more stocky, muscular build.
I imagine her ultimate looking like one of those punching dolls shaped like a bowling pin that never falls over, with a large stuffed, cartoonish cat head.
Backstory
"The damage done by the wars throughout Runeterra has left the wildlife permanently mutated by magic-saturated land, leaving many of the creatures forever changed. While most see this as a tragedy, a select few see it as an opportunity. By breeding the strongest dogs, and raising them on enchanted foods, Charlene has bred beasts far larger and more powerful than an average dog. Using her alpha Rufus, Charlene tracks down the most worthy prey for the Noxian elite."
Names
I was trying to think of dog breed names, when I remembered my grandma owns a King Charles Spaniel, and voila, there came Charlene. That's really the only name I'm attached to, anything else is totally up for discussion.
