"A lot of people" or "A substantial percentage of paying League of LEgends players"? Because there's a difference there, and the second value is what's important.

Its not as if champs are the only way RIOT has to make money.

And it's not as though we have any idea what their sources of income are or how much of it is skins/champs.

I play 10-15 games a week. Thats plenty. If you think it isnt, clearly you dont have a real life. Those of us who do, cant devote 7 hours a day to gaming.
|
I go to school full time and work part time. There's nothing wrong with how much you play, I think I only manage maybe 15-20 games a week myself. The difference between us isn't how much we play, it's how much we think we're entitled to. I'm not content because I play 20 games a day. I'm content because I didn't buy Rumble, Brand, Nocturne, Lee Sin or Jarvan because I
didn't really want them, and now I not only do I have enough to buy Vayne, but I have 5900 IP left over for whatever I want next.
How can I possibly complain about that? How I can I possibly understand other people who want to play as little as I do, but think they should earn 3 times as much content, and for free, no less?

Mine, other people, all of us. Yes RIOT has bills to. Perhaps you dont pay attention to how well they are doing. Your argument is rather ridiculous as they can EASILY afford to NOT put every champ at 6300 IP.
|
Um wha? They are doing super well I'm sure in large part because they have an excellent pricing structure. Keep in mind, if they were REALLY selling things for too much, that would hurt their profits as well. So saying 'they are doing well they can afford to cut prices' doesn't make sense. They're doing well because their prices are ideal. You think they should strive to do less well because somebody cried on the forums?

If they were hurting, or champions were their only source of income, you may have a point.
|
Companies do not have an obligation to be 'hurting' or just barely getting by. You don't have a legitimate grievance on somebody just because they are doing well. They are a brand new company that is obviously looking to expand. They need a huge profit in order to expand LoL, and/or to do something OTHER than LoL at some point.

6300 IP in 2-3 days. Average of 100 IP per win (nowhere actually close to that but I will humor you kid). Average of 35 minutes per game.
6300/100 = 63
63 x 35 minutes = 2205
|
What? I said Riot CAN'T afford to charge prices people can farm in 2-3 days, so obviously I wasn't talking about 6300, jerk off.

I mean come on kid. Do you honestly think releasing every champ at 6300 IP is whats keeping them in business?
|
I think they're doing it, I think their aspirations should be a little higher than 'staying in business', and I think you just admitted that what they're doing is working very well for them.
So unless you have a crystal ball or can read tea leaves, yes, I'd say the evidence points to this current pricing structure being the best one for them.
Anything else, genius?
EDIT: Actually, I don't care if you have anything else to say. The OP just cried off to momma. Time to happily let the thread die.
