Your guesstimate has an uncertainty of multiple orders of magnitude. My guess is, you're looking at someone who bought in at a particular valuation of the company, which has very little to do with the actual number on the balance sheet.

It's the first couple years of this games life, and 6.3k IP won't kill you. That's just one win a day for two weeks.

fyi, you do get a one time return of up to 3 champions, regardless of how long ago you bought them.


To stay on topic: Id be ok with the pricing system if there was a way to actually flat out buy the game (minus skins).

14x220 =/= 6300. and im being generous on the IP amount. we spend money on this game, the main reason we are asking this(even though no one wants to admit it) is because we have 0 clue how riot prices champions. No one in the marketing deparment will even post on the forums unless it involves some major error or some news.

Click on the support tab to open a ticket, tell them who you want refunded. I cut and pasted their response when I got my refund below(so you put the right info in the first time):

We normally do not provide refunds for items purchased such as skins, champions, or runes. However, I will make a one time exception for you and refund up to 3 purchases. I can only provide you with this exception once, so if you have had a refund before I will be unable to provide you with another.

Please provide me with the following information so I can begin the refund process. I need :

- The name of each of the 3 items you would like refunded
- How much IP or RP you spent on each item

I also need the following information:

- Your account name (What you log in to the game with)
- Your summoner name (What other players see in game)
- Which server you play on (North America or European)

Please make sure to include all the information mentioned above, I can't complete the refund process without it.

If you have received a refund before I can't provide you with another exception. I'm sorry for the inconvenience.

You were right Leona 6300 champ.Riot knows people will buy new champs because for some reason you win more with the new champs cause they are not nerfed like the othe 100 champs are.

that's because they release them OP so people get stomped with them and want to buy them... hello shen... xian... vlad... etc.

then, once they've been in circulation a bit, riot says, and they always do "we feel like the -soandso- is balanced". people say 'yaay', no nerfs. a month later, the champ gets hammered down.

it happens every time. it's called "bait and switch".

Buy champions you like the look and play style of and ignore the rest unless you want to spend alot of money...
