I'm just making a random build for her, but my lane phase sucks as her. I end up feeding terribly because the enemy team has more harass then me it seems, and can easily 1v1 me, which means I lose farm and I'm dying nonstop lategame.

Start with q, then e, then max w. play fairly passively until level 5-6 where you should be able to 1v1 anyone if you can ult both them and a creep wave.

Don't spam q endlessly though, only use it 1/2 times a wave max as it eats mana.

Pre 6 you are likely to get pushed to your tower, just dont die and last hit what you can. Its not to bad.

After 6 irelia is insanely hard to kill or dominate in lane because of her healing from ulti/W. You should own just about everyone at that point.

Irelia is also pretty much a solo top champ. She isn't meant to duo lane if you are doing that.

Seeing your match history with her, you're doing it right for the most part. Get a HoG early as well.

Don't give up, Irelia is actually a great laner and can even solo well, you just need to focus on your main objective, which is not dying to the enemy so you can farm the lane and hopefully level up quicker to be a great asset to the team later on.

As runes, i'd say anything tanky would do for her with some mana regen thrown in.

Start item would definitely be a Regen necklace, along with your natural health gain and HP life steal, you're near impossible to push and be harassed.

The main thing is about getting in and out of minions faces with your Q, manage your last hits well with it and you'll be fine, Never, ever overextend and always keep the minions at bay so you don't risk yourself in losing exp.

If you know you're going to go up an AD harasser, get Doran's shield. Otherwise grab a Regrowth Pendant and a red pot. Passively last hit. Thassit. Only Q if you really think you're not gonna get the last hit (it's too far, the turret is gonna steal it, etc.).

If you have the mana and you feel you won't take too much damage, you can Q -> E to harass and zone your enemy, but your main goal is to farm. At level 6 use your ult to push the lane hard so you can go shop for a Philo Stone, boots, and a Sheen (which makes your harass way better). Any time you need to b, push the lane with your ult again so your tower doesn't get owned.
