Well, I can't add a poll to an already created thread, so I'll have to use this one for the actual poll.

Anyway, which entry/entries do you feel best capture the concept of Qurego'mas?

The poll will be open for one week and then I will choose one of the 5 with the most votes. Have fun everyone!

The original concept:

Quote:
Qurego'mas, The Tyrant Mastermind

Story Basics: A tyrant sorcerer who attempted to enter the Void and control its power. Unfortunately, he was under prepared and his body was destroyed -- the only parts left were his brain, eyes, and spinal cord. While gone in the Void, his Kingdom grew to be democratic and renounced their former ruler. Luckily, a few of his remaining loyal minions found Qurego'mas's remains, preserved in the Void, and implanted them into a specially designed jar to bring their master back. Using his new found psychic powers and a newly created mechanical body, Qurego'mas joins the league to test his meddle and reclaim his lost land. [Think an overthrown Doctor Doom mixed with Doctor Fetus from Meatboy thrown together with a decent sense of humor, as I imagine he likes to dress his robot body up in fancy suits or outlandish outfits].

Range: Melee

Primary Role: Support
Secondary Role: Caster
Tertiary Role: Tank

Keeping this bumped. I didnt even realise i'd made the cut! thanks Stexe

(was hibernating with lots of Uni work)

since writing Qurego'mas i actually looked further into creating a super dedicated support tank. I don't wanna turn this thread into a self plug though so i might link to it after you close the poll. But i think there is a lot of fun to be had with this class.

I don't feel like your own vote should count towards yourself, but in the end I don't really think it matters too much unless there's like some tie for 5th and 6th place where the deciding factor is between someone who did vote for themselves and someone who didn't.

Ya, 1 vote shouldn't really matter. It is fine if you vote for yourself, but you might also want to vote for the other designs you liked too.

I do think there is a lot that can be done with a tanky support, as the only real tanky support roles out there right now are Nunu and Taric. Both Nunu and Taric are also top tier picks and are taken in almost every top tier game (either for jungling/ganking support or heal/stun support) -- you'd think Riot would be interested in expanding that role so people had more of a selection.

Personally i think Taric and shen are the best examples tanky support. As a supporter you should have more than one way to help your team and considering that they are classed as support. Nunu can only offer a speed boost.

Taric can shield you or heal you
Shen can shield you taunt to protect you AND provide you with lifesteal from his vorpal blade
Alistair can heal you and protect you with knockback etc.

I'll be running a similar contest near late December / early January. Look for it then!

Eh, I don't think you need a shield or a heal to be an effective support. Nunu is an effective support and he doesn't heal anyone but himself.

I agree with you, you don't need those things to be able to support your team, i guess what i am saying is that in my opinion i would see a tank like shen who has the ability to take the heat off me in a fight as more valuable than nunu or morde. That said;
E.G. people play morde as a tank, but he has no CC, no way of forcing enemies to fight him, the enemy can just ingore your tanky morde, walk passed and squash you dps characters.
At least Nunu has 2 slows and can make u fast enough to run away, i guess in this way he is supportive. Fair argument.
