This is a concept that my friend Azrim20x and I came up with. Enjoy. Any feedback greatly appreciated.

Meant to play as Void-Tank/Secondary Tank

Xyrim, Gatekeeper of the Void

Quote:
Lore:
There is a place between dimensions and between worlds. To some it is known as the Outside, to others it is the Unknown. To most, however, it is called the Void. Despite its name, the Void is not an empty place, but rather the home of unspeakable things, horrors not meant for minds of men. But there was a time before such things, a time of peace filled with explorations into the mind and things of magic. Sure, such a time was filled with superstition more than science, but that changed not the arts of magic. They were some of the first to delve into the power of the summoner’s circle, and it was their demise. The cyclopean populace of Icathia was grown for millennia, yet demolished in one foolish summoner’s act.
Xyrim was a revolutionary for his day, with power far beyond any his kind had ever dreamed of, able to summon never before seen spectacles before his people in a show of his power. Then it all went wrong. None will ever know exactly how it happened, but what is known is that a rift was opened that quickly started to spew forth the most terrible of creatures ever seen. Later to be known as the Voidborn, they desecrated the once ancient and proud city slaughtering any and all that were to be found. The bravest of warriors fled in terror until only Xyrim and his peers remained. In one desperate attempt to undo what had been done, the young summoners sacrificed themselves to close the rift and destroy any Voidborn that had penetrated the veil between worlds.
The rest was lost to history until he arrived at the gates of the Institute of War during the worst of storms. Having never seen a Cyclops, the guards fled in terror of the sight that befell them. From what Institute summoners have been able to learn from him, he has been living in the void that he helped seal millennia ago. His purpose there as a gatekeeper between the Void and all other realms, for he knows that if ever another rift is ever opened, it will be inescapable for any within the realm. He comes with the intent of finding those worthy of joining him in his role as gatekeepers of the Void.

Champion Appearance:
Large humanoid in appearance who's original body has been tainted by the dark magic's of the void.

Skin appears to be rotting away in places on his arms and torso, but instead of decay underneath, all that is visible is dark void magic underneath. Flares of void magic come out of these pockets of missing skin like solar flares to some of the larger pockets on the torso.
One arm is gone from the elbow down, replaced by an appendage made completely of the void power within him. Takes form as needed, a hand when not in combat, a spellsword/axe when attacking.
His head is completely turned into void magic with a mouth visible only when speaking. A large single eye made of pure magic floats where his original eye once was.

Skills:

Passive
Void Overdrive
When Xyrim is attacked by enemy champions his grip on the physical realm begins to slip, eventually leading to the necessity to unleash extra void power with his next spellcast.

Each auto-attack landed on Xyrim build 1 stack, each spell attack builds 2. Upon reaching 10 stacks Xyrim goes into Void Form empowering his next spell cast with extra power from beyond.
Stacks are exhausted upon the spellcast and begin building again.

NOTE: Minion attacks and Tower attacks do not build stacks onto Xyrim.

Q - Whip of the Forsaken

Xyrim's void arm tranforms into a long whip of void magic dealing extra damage on his next attack dealing magic damage to the target and nearby enemy units.

Deals 30/40/50/60/70 + .6AD on next auto-attack to the target and adjacent enemies.

Cooldown - 8/7/6/5/4 seconds.

Void Form - Adds 10/15/20% Lifesteal and Spell Vamp to the whip attack

W - Gaze of Fear

Xyrims great cyclopean eye gazes into the soul of the target causing them to be overcome with fear. If the victim is looking away from him, they are then overcome with their own screams and unable to cast their spells.

Targeted champion is struck with fear for 1.5 seconds if facing Xyrim when he uses the spell.
If facing away from Xyrim, target is silenced for 1.5 seconds.

Void Form - deals 50/75/100 + .4AP magic damage to the target.

Cooldown - 15/14/13/12/11 seconds

E - Roar of Cyclops
Lets out an ancient Battlecry of the Icathian Horde making all enemies focus their efforts on Xyrim.

Cone shaped taunt can effect up to 3 champions.
Gains Damage reduction 10/15/20/25/30%
2 sec. taunt then the following occurs if he survives the taunt.

Heals nearby champs for 30/35/40/45/50% of damage received
If no nearby champs converts to self heal for 10/15/20/25/30%
Additional healing of .5AP

Void Form - Amount healed is dealt as damage to nearby enemy champs. Additional damage of .3/.5/.7AD

- Enemies outside the taunt can still attack Xyrim with spells but if Xyrim survives the taunt duration their damage is added to the total healing/damage of the taunt.
- Can be interrupted by stuns/knockbacks, if interrupted - heal/damage is triggered

Cooldown - 20 seconds.

R - Hand of the Gatekeeper
Xyrims void arm becomes a great claw that races across the ground knocking the first enemy champion it comes in contact with into the air.

Deals 150/250/350 + .4/.5/.6AP + .5/.6/.7AD to the champion and knocks them into the air.

Void Form - Xyrim teleports to the enemy champ and their armor and magic resistance are reduced by 10/15/20% for 2 seconds.

Cooldown - 140/120/100 seconds.

Personally, I'm not too sure about the Passive. Having him change form specifically every thirty seconds seems a bit too uncontrollable. It seems like it would make him difficult to play, since you have no control over which abilities you have available to you. Say that you are busy smashing an enemy in Disorder form with your increased magic damage (AP?), when you suddenly change into Order form and lose that bonus, allowing your enemy to turn around and start beating on you with less fear of reprisal.

It is an interesting idea, I just think it would require a lot of skill and attention to the time. However, if you could master it, I think it could be very effective, especially the Call of Icathia/Chaos Ward, when used correctly. It would be very useful to use Call of Icathia right before changing to Disorder, then using Chaos Ward to block all the incoming attacks.

It seems like a good idea for a champion, the whole passive thing is just my view on it. Nice job!

That's the part where player skill would be the largest factor into how this champion could do. You would have to time your pushes in accordance with his form changes, would add an interesting rythm to team fights, one minute he is tanking while throwing some heals out as he attacks, the next starts throwing down like more of a carry tank.

Thanx for the critique.

The strategy involved in using him properly would be difficult indeed. I started contemplating longer and shorter time spans and each one seemed to thwart one of his abilities. Seems promising.
