I am very excited to share with you some news from Riot Games. Today we're announcing that Tencent, one of our international publishing partners, is taking a bigger investment in Riot Games. What that means for all of you is that we will now have more resources to develop, grow and support League of Legends.
We have been working very closely with Tencent, since before beta and they are now taking a majority stake in Riot Games because they share our passion for supporting our community and improving League of Legends.
It gets cold around this time of year, but even in this bleak, mid-winter time, there’s always something to help keep you warm as a cup of hot cocoa, a cozy fire, and a winter coat. In Valoran, it’s the Snowdown Showdown, so while the weather outside may be frightful, rivalries amongst the League’s top champions are heating up. We think that the following video properly captures our warmest wishes going out to you in this chilly, but merry, Holiday Season!

We’re happy to announce that League of Legends has won the Golden Joystick Online Game of the Year Award! We here at Riot Games would like to issue a special thanks to everyone who voted. It is due to the continued support of members of the community that we have once again been able to bring home another prestigious award. Receiving this honor from the longest running ceremony in gaming means a lot to everyone here in the studio.
Come to Los Angeles between September 30 and October 3, plan on coming to pay us a visit at the Los Angeles Convention Center for WCG 2010. We're looking forward to meeting you in person at the Riot Games booth, where you can meet the developers, pick up some free swag, and take part in some awesome contests. We'll be all set to put any fan art you bring along on display, so if you're one of those artistic types, we'd love for you to indulge our vanity.

Riot Games is looking to hire Senior, Mid Level, and Associate Environment and 3D Artists to help us build more awesome characters and maps for League of Legends! Experience with Maya or Zbrush is required, and experience with Mudbox is a major plus. Must be able to paint stylized textures, sculpt assets, and have experience with current shader technology.

In February of this year we announced that we had reached an agreement with a publisher to bring League of Legends to all our fans in Southeast Asia. Today, we are ready to reveal the identity of our partner. We are extremely pleased to be able to announce that Garena will be working with Riot to bring League of Legends to Singapore, Malaysia, Vietnam, and the Philippines.
We are looking for dedicated League of Legends fans living in the United States who are fluent in Spanish, French, or German, as well as English, to help us provide customer support for players around the world. This full-time paid position would require relocating to the Los Angeles/Culver City area to work at the Riot Games office.
