You've all been asking for it, and today we're here to deliver. As of today, you'll be able to visit the store and purchase additional rune book pages for your summoner. That's right, for draft mode convenience, we're ready to offer you the tools you need to set up a specialized rune page for each of your favorite champions.
It’s about that time again, Summoners! New patch time is indeed upon us. That means some new skins, in addition to an awesome new champion. Here’s what’s on the way:
New Skins
Yordles with machine guns, desperado scarecrows, and hungry, scruffy yetis, oh my! Make way for the no-nonsense Guerilla Tristana and her titanic hurt-cannon. Ye best hide your valuables from Bandito Fiddlesticks. And don’t be surprised if you find a Grungy Nunu digging through your trash late one night.
Galio Bundles
Vladimir is an extremely active caster/tank champion. He excels in making terrible blood-related puns (listen to his in-game voice-over) and killing his enemies both by himself and with the help of his team. He’s extremely fun, active, and possibly as stylish as Taric!
Ladies and gents, prepare for incoming awesomeness! The new patch is on its way, and that means some new skins, and a bloody fantastic new champion, for you to enjoy. Are you sitting down? If not, grab a seat so we can get down to business!
It’s a good day to be an Ezreal, Udyr, and/or Ashe player! New skins are now available for these three champs. Beat the summer heat and cool off with Frosted Ezreal. Kick it in the dojo with martial arts master Black Belt Udyr. Or slap on some war paint and roar your battle cry with Woad Ashe.
Head on over to the Store and click on the Skins tab to purchase these new skins.
How many people can I queue with in "solo" matchmaking?
You are allowed to join the solo ranked games queue either yourself or with a maximum of one other player.
Can I queue with fewer than five people for Summoner's Rift in ranked games?
If you wish to participate in a ranked game on Summoner's Rift, you may either queue with a full premade, or with one other person in the solo queue. Remember that you can still queue for a normal game with a premade team of any size.
Rejoice, for Season One is upon us! All you summoners out there will soon be enjoying the new Season One features such as Ranked Games, Ladders, Draft Mode, and more! To quell a bit of your excitement in the meantime, we wanted to give you a little taste of some other new content that you can expect…
New Skins
Xin Zhao (pronounced sin-jow) is one of the most aggressive champions in League of Legends. Some melee champions like arming themselves with shields, invulnerability, or damage reduction. Xin Zhao defends himself by having everyone else die first. To me, that's just the better way to play. Hyper-aggressive, built on attack speed and awesomeness, Xin Zhao doesn't take "no" for an answer. In fact, he's so pushy, that he demanded this spotlight come out days before the Season One patch. Enjoy your envy, summoners.
What queues will be available for Ranked Games in Season One?
Once ranked play begins, all player's ratings will begin at the same rating, and players will be able to select one of the following queues for competition: Solo/Two player Summoner's Rift, Full Premade Summoner's Rift, and Full Premade Twisted Treeline. Once in queue you will only be matched against other players who have selected this specific queue type.
What will Season One mean for me if I don’t want to play Ranked Games?
My name is Shawn Carnes (a.k.a. Babagahnoosh), and I’m the Lead Creative Designer here at Riot Games. Season One is all about changes and improvements to the League of Legends, and LoL’s story development is no exception. Our overall goal for Season One is to treat world development as we do champion development. The first step in achieving this is a commitment to update the progression of the world’s multiple storylines every two weeks.
