How I hate going out in the storm! With this last contest, summoners, you brought the storm to us in the most comfortable way possible -- via photographs.

We wanted to see the best League of Legends snowmen! One thing we learned, however, was that for how cold it seemed to be everywhere, there wasn’t always that much actual snow to work with. A whole category might have been dedicated to mushmen, doggedly crafted to look like Teemo. Of those arguably "blessed" with snowfall, we picked out some resounding winners of the best snowmen on the Fields of Justice.

Summoners,

Round two of the Valoran Video contest has come to a close. The competition was extremely tough this time around, and we want to thank everyone for your excellent entries, even though it did make judging your spectacular submissions all the more difficult. Please join me in congratulating Gunnedown and Ciderhelm for all their hard work!

The Songs of the Summoned …Volume One!

In an impressive display of musical affinity, summoners have taken to the studio and recorded original songs and parodies to show their love of League of Legends. The entries were overwhelming, spirited, and passed around the office like a virus. Basically, Rioterz have been humming or downright rocking out to these songs at the water cooler for weeks, so here are the winners!

Summoners, write a League of Legends themed song!

Part one of the Valoran Video contest sought movie-makers, asking them to introduce core tenets of League of Legends to budding summoners. Grading them was not easy, but we have come back with winning videos for both Map Awareness and Laning Basics.

Stay tuned because we have more contests to come, so dust off your video recording software, because part 2 will be forthcoming in the near future! Please join us in congratulating the winners below!

Masquerade Magnificence Posted by Administrator on Fri, 2010-10-29 13:00

Summoners,

The Masquerade Madness contest challenged you to create a Halloween costume based on a League of Legends, and the response was overwhelming. Summoners brought League of Legends to life, donning fabric, plastic and handmade weapons to recreate the look of their favorite champions. The costumes were lovingly crafted, highly creative, and some even a little disturbing. Our champions have never looked better, and choosing winners was an arduous process that came down to the careful review of every detail.
