Welcome to Fates!

Teamfight Tactics: Fates is here, along with new champions and traits, the Chosen mechanic, and a new Ranked season. TFT is still the same strategy game you know and love, but the revamped roster will challenge your ability to overcome your opponents in some new and unique ways. Pay special attention to powerful Tier 5 champions like Sett, Zilean and Lee Sin that bend the rules of how a champion "dies.” The new Chosen mechanic will allow you to pick up superpowered versions of champions that carry your team, but choose yours carefully, as you can only have one at a time.

In addition to all the gameplay changes, Fates also brings new ways to show off your style. Let your spirit soar with three new dragon-themed Little Legends who rock out together on their own instruments. Then check out all-new Star Shards, arenas that react to your game state, and a shiny new Pass and Pass+, featuring an exclusive Little Legend, arenas, booms, and emotes.

Whew! There's a lot to cover, so let's get into it!

Cheatsheet

Details

The cheat sheet above should give you a good idea of the champions and traits in the new set. But if you want to dive deep into all the stats, head to one of the sites listed below.

Little Legends

The new dragon-themed Little Legends are here and will be available for purchase soon after the patch goes live!

Star Shards

  • You can now upgrade your Little Legends star level with Star Shards! No more digging through eggs hoping to hatch your favorite pint-sized companions. Just star-up your favorites! Learn more.

Arenas

The new Festival, Kanmei, and Akana arenas react to your wins, losses, streaks, and three-star champions. Oh, and be sure to click around the boards a little bit—you never know what you might find.
